I recently joined a gym. I have never before in my life have seen another guy-s penis in real life. Now, since I-ve been going to the gym I-ve been seeing penises of all kinds - cut, uncut, erect, flaccid, small, average, big.

I feel so uncomfortable being around those things so much in the locker room, but everyone else doesn-t seem to have a problem with it.

How can I get comfortable seeing penises everyday at my gym locker room?

just stop going...go to another gym

In the real world when you get older and are in the military you will have to share facilities with other guys and there really is no privacy.

Back in the old days it wasn-t unusual for guys to be nude at the YMCA and swimming or in the school locker rooms after PE changing and showering. Lots a bare butts and different sized penises, and nobody cared.

Now days boys don-t have to take showers in school for fear that another kid might see his junk and parents are shy or unwilling to tell their kids about sex and nudity is considered taboo.

If you are old enough to join a gym the I suggest you get use to it. Not all guys are shy and not all guys are willing to cover up when in that surrounding.

You have the same junk they do, maybe bigger, maybe smaller but when all said and done I doubt anybody cares.

I can-t imagine why it is uncomfortable for you. Unless they-re ogling your junk (or you their-s) it shouldn-t be an issue.

Just mind your own business. Don-t get too comfortable; you might end up leaving the locker room with a black eye.

What sort of locker room do you go to, where men walk around with erections?
If you aren-t comfortable with it, join a different gym, with private changing facilities. There are plenty of them around.

It might get more comfortable in time. Im sure some people do feel the same way as you. Just get used to it :)

this is a good question. the answer has to do with 2 things.1) when you were little your parents never talked to you about nudity. they always said it was a private thing and that you should always dress in private. now as you got older. you started hearing things like if see other peoples penis it means you are gay. so that leads to 2) the male ego tells us that we aren;t supose to see talk or hear about guys and there penis: so the bottom line is that we as guys aren-t suppose to see others naked. now that you are in a gym/ you have no choice but to see others naked and that goes against everything you were taught as a kid. and that is why you are nervous. but remember we all have the same body part. hope this helps

just stare at them reaaaaaaaaallly intensley one day... and then... it wont be awkward anymore.
