How to clean uncircumcised penis during field camp? -

I-m 19 and am in the army. I go for field camps very often. I was wondering is there any ways to clean my penis? I-m uncircumcised btw. We are only allowed to powder bath. Only after a week where I go home then I can truly wash my penis with soap and water.

My senior says I should pull back my foreskin and leave the glans exposed during the entire field camp so as to prevent accumulation of smegma and smell. He says it has worked for him since he started doing that few months ago.

But wouldn-t the foreskin move back to its original position to its own accord. I can-t possibly be sticking my hand into my pants all the time to pull it backwards. Any other tips?

  • Getting circumcised IS THE DUMBEST THING IN THE WORLD you can do to solve this problem. Don-t listen to these other idiots! You don-t really have a problem here. There are plenty of uncircumcised guys in the Army and this is never an issue for them! I-m uncircumcised, in the military and have been in the field before and I was always able to find a way to clean my privates. Don-t listen to a jackass -senior- (I-m assuming sergeant) who doesn-t know what he-s talking about!

You will have to wash your hands with soap or some type of disinfectant before you eat anything (even in the army this is usually mandatory in the field). If your personal hygiene becomes that desperate, you can always use that with a bottle of drinking water, then find some corner of the latrine, pull your foreskin back and clean it. Trust me, you-ll figure out a way, it-s not that hard!

  • it may stay back by itself
it should be ok to go without cleaning for a week
but if you are concerned use a bit of you water ration and a clean cloth and rinse the head off
just a little to wet the head you need the water ration

  • Just pull it back when it-s convenient - practice will let it stay just where you want it to stay over time ...

  • Well, your senior isn-t entirely wrong. But pulling the foreskin back and leaving the glans exposed isn-t exactly comfortable, and not all guys have short enough foreskins that they can just pull it back and keep it there. So obviously it-s not for everyone.

Here-s what you can try to do. When you urinate, pull your foreskin back. When you-re done, wipe the remaining drops of urine on a piece of toilet paper or the back of your hand (I assume you-ll have a way to wash your hands?). This will help it stay clean under your foreskin.

I don-t know what a powder bath is, but it sounds like no water is involved. You could wet a piece of towel paper or napkin or something and, pulling your foreskin back, just wipe around the glans and inner foreskin area. Just rinsing a little bit of water over the glans will do the trick too, it-s pretty low maintenance when you get down to it.

Honestly though, if you-re just at camp for a week, nothing-s probably going happen to your foreskin. So you can just wait until you get home if you want. But the above tips should help.

  • Getting circumcised is of course the absolute answer as a circumcised penis is much lower maintenance. It should still be washed whenever possible, but can go much longer without washing than can an uncircumcised one.

Trying to train your foreskin to stay back behind the glans is the next best thing as it will allow the glans to dry out and become more resistant to infection and to abrasion. Smegma will be more likely to be automatically rubbed away and thus will not become rancid, smelly and infected.

Whether your foreskin will stay back depends on its length, looseness and the degree of -flare- of the rim of your glans. At first it will keep re-covering the glans, but if you pull it back again whenever you have a reasonable chance to do so it may eventually stay back (many men have done this, so it is not unusual).

  • Explain to who you should or the medic doctor that you would like to have some guaze or sanitary wipes to take along with you in the field. It-s a health issue and it would help you concentrate more on the field instead of feeling an irratation down there.
Keeping your foreskin back is only going to bother you more, Isn-t that impossible? Mine always naturally goes to its normal position. It-s the elasticity and normal to be over your gland.
These military people don-t understand about how foreskin works.
I think they should allow you to have some sanitary wipes and it won-t effect your training at all.
There is nothing wrong with cleanliness.
Powder? You got to be kidding.

  • Dude, get circumcised! I am sure the Army would love to do it for you. At one time if you were not circumcised the military would do it with out asking you.

I was circumcised at 18, so been there and have the t-shirt!It was done in office and was in and out in under an hour. No sports or sex for a month, but well worth it. There is no downside to being circumcised only an upside.I would do it again in a NY minute. It is cleaner (uncircumcised guys can clean 3x a day + and still have odor), it is healthier (uncircumcised guys are 60% more likely to acquire STD-s and HIV during heterosexual intercourse), it looks better (no brainer) and sexually it is much better. There is no loss of sensitivity, that is only a scare tactic from the anti-s. I can assure you, orgasms are much more intense when you are circumcised. There is nothing good about being uncut. It is a very easy and quick procedure as an infant and gives the child a lifetime of benefits. I had no hesitation to have my three boys (4,2 - NB) circumcised, because I know there is no downside just a big upside to being circumcised.

  • Get Circumcised. Thats why they did it to American GIs during world war 2. It was way easier to keep clean, plus the ladies will love it. No more smegma, no phimosis, no balanits less stds, hiv and hpv.

    helmets protect,

    anteaters neglect

  • I am sure you realise there are millions of men in armed services around the world who are not circumcised and who face similar issues of hygiene every day. In fact, the answer is no different to that given to men who are circumcised and face the same problem.

It is hard to keep clean when you are unable to bathe. You certainly do not need to pull back your foreskin, nor do you need to leave it rolled back (if such a thing is possible!). By doing so you will probably cause severe chaffing and you may introduce other risks, such as irritation of the glans.

Smegma is supposed to be around your glans - it is there as a protection against infection and is a lubricant. It should not be too much of a problem to keep it clean with regular masturbation and by using some of your powder around the area.

Always work with your foreskin - it is there to protect you and to help you gain absolute performance and enjoyment from your penis. Remember to masturbate frequently (most guys do it 2 or 3 times a day) regardless of where you are. This will keep your mental and physical health in balance.
