Guys can be different about this, as you see in the answers. I will add this: I can be as little as one inch if it is cold outside, or I am watching a horror movie, or films where there is danger....all this -- I think -- is a natural matter of natural protection; if I am in a swimming pool and naked and the water is cool, then I am small as well; in my jeans, normally, it hangs about 2 to 3 inches, soft and spungy. In a hot shower, it hangs forward, soft, about 3 inches. When with a woman who has stroked me there and I am in my jeans, thus, constrained, it gets stiffer, but cannot -stand- the way it does when I am on my back and she is playing with it; then I get to about 5 to 6 inches and I am fairly thick. Yes, it really gets bigger. But different guys hang at different lengths when it-s limp, so the amount they grow depends on the guy. Usually, it grows by about 75% of the limp length (nearly doubling in size.)
