I did it for the first time when I was 24

I started shaving my pubic region when I was about 26, and I remember how bad the itch was the next day. I had shaved the front and the scrotum area, and I learned that shaving the front area above the penis can cause alot of ingrown hairs.....OUCH......not to mention that the friction from of the pants also chafed that area badly. It took a while but eventually Iearned how not to shave that area against the hair grain ( instead of shaving in upward motion in the front area above the penis, shave in downward motion). Now, I down save my frontal area completely; instead, I shave in the downward motion only removing enough hair to make it look very neatly, low trimmed. I do continue to shave the scrotum area completely clean. As some of the other people have mentioned, there is a nice feeling that comes from having the testicles smooth shaven.
