How exactly do doctors circumsize a penis? -
im wanting to know out of pure curiosity. my fiance tried to explain it to me but he sucks at explaining things lol. please explain it to me or something. its bothering the crap out of me because he said that they dont stitch up anything but i dont see how they woiuldnt. he is circumsized and he doesnt have any scars or anything
For an adult to have it done they lay him on the table and inject anesthesa all around his penis. then cut down and around the foreskin to remove it then the doctor will stitch up the two cut ends and recovery time is 4-6 weeks.
curtdude
uncircumcised dude
There are no standards for male genital mutilation, called circumcision, and it-s done by medical students, interns, and just about anyone in a hospital except the janitor, it would appear.
The locations/depth of the scars vary incredibly, from just below the glans to 1/2 or even 2/3 of the way down.
The loss of sensitivity as a result of the damage varies also, from 50-75% on average to even more, depending on the location/extent of the damage to the penis.
They even have plastic torture devices, called a Plastibel--which clamps onto an infant-s penis, and strangulates the blood supply in the foreskin, causing it to die, turn black and drop off!
Would you like your own genitals to be subjected to something like this? Would you like your own genitals mutilated and scarred permanently? How do you think you would feel if you had been subjected to a female circumcision as an infant---without any choice in the matter yourself?
And yes, they do stitch up some circumcisions.
They don-t even bother with painkillers for most infants. Animals are treated better than this in the USA!
As a victim of forced infant circumcision, I will campaign against genital mutilation for the rest of my lifetime.
I am restoring my foreskin, like more than 200,000 other guys, to get back some of the sensitivity and function stolen from me by the damage inflicted on me.
What-s so hard to understand about it being wrong to mutilate babies?
How can anyone with any intelligence possibly think that an undamaged penis won-t feel and function better than a damaged one?
Circumcision is a hoax and a fraud.
A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright.
ERIC
They strap the baby down, then they get two pairs of tweezers and forcibly separate the foreskin from the glans. The penis then begins to bleed profusely. When this separation begins, the baby starts to scream and struggle.
After the foreskin is separated, the doctor uses a special clamp to protect the glans while the foreskin is cut. The doctor then takes a scalpel and cuts down the top of the foreskin. Then he cuts around it. Then the clamp is removed by unscrewing it.
Finally, the baby-s penis is cleaned and bandaged.
The baby-s screams and struggles continue throughout the whole operation, which takes about ten minutes.
Unless they accidentally cut into a major blood vessel they don-t use stitches when a baby is circumcised - the skin of a baby-s foreskin is not yet fully developed into a double layer as it is in an adult, so it needs no stitches.
Curt is incorrect my boys had a numbing cream applied and not a peep.
