There is actually ambiguity in two ways. Girth should refer to circumference but people often post width. Either way different individuals have variable measurements depending on where on the penis the measurement is taken. Most just measure the widest part. However, some penis surveys call for these measurements at the mid-shaft.

penis girth is the circumference or the length all around it. so when you-re erect use a fabric tape measure (the flexible ones) or get a piece of string and wrap it around your penis. then measure how long the string is.
