I answered three questions in a row about it. The first was when somebody made a comment about the frequency of this question.

Bcuz guys r insecure about the size of their cock. It-s just the way most guys r until they get into adulthood and realize that it really doesnt matter. All girls care about is if u can make them happy

In the society we live in males are bombarded with the idea that their penis needs to be large to get women, respect and happiness. A few examples Extenz commercials show a man who only gains happiness and the ability to satisfy his wife when he increases the size of his penis, the porn industry also plays a large part in this, men see the vibrators and huge dildos and the porn stars penises and think that is the size a penis should be when in reality few males penises are actually that size. So men are trying to live up to an unrealistic ideal. The actual average size of a mans penis is 5.1�C5.9 in in length the typical girth or circumference is approximately 4.85 in when fully erect.

I think when boys see another penis they think, -wow mine is small- and they of course want to increase the size so they look the same as their peers. This usually happens in locker rooms, and for most students/athletes it happens either at the beginning of high school or junior high so they are naturally behind in the growth of their penis anyway, thus making it harder for them to be statistically the same size as their peers. Other reasons include that they are actually smaller than people their age, and they want to be the same size, or bigger in order to fit in, but in all honesty, everyone has the same plumbing, and no one really cares.

There is also the aspect of porn, porn usually involves adult males, so their penises are bigger than the maturing teens who usually ask the questions about their size, etc. Not only in length but in girth, is where questions come from, both of which grow in puberty but girth grows later on than length, making it not as evident to males who haven-t had sex, and don-t know anything about pleasing women.

I cant give statistics on this, but I think it is because of the prevalence of available porn. Porn makes people think they can do whatever they see of be whatever they see. But the truth of the matter is that you are what you are.

Boys want to increase their penis size because they see big ones on porn. Often they do not realise that the penises they are seeing are not really all that big, but are distorted by clever photographics or are dangerously enlarged by surgery or drugs.

Almost everyone has an average size penis. What is the average size? Depends on who you are, where you are, what you eat, how you exercise, how big you dad was, and so on. You can almost guarantee that your penis is average size. Even so, it is the perfect size for you, because that is what God gave you.

In general guys are insecure about their penis size because of the kind of stuff they see in porn with the huge penises. and the way society has lead people to think that a big penis is better and given an unrealistic expectation with regards to size that guys are not like and so feel insecure about it. Society pretends like the size of your penis is a judgement of how much of a man you are when that is not true. it like judging how much of a man a guy is based on the size of his nose or skull. the size you have is genetic and is not determined by anything such as how much of a man you are. But people still believe this way of thinking and thats why guys feel like they are too small. you will notice how you hardly ever get people asking if they are too big since Big is supposed to be better etc. i think everyone asks questions about their size or wants to or looks up the average size on the net just to see how they compare.

They are trying to live up to an unrealistic ideal, just as the girls do with tall skinny models. We are bombarded with bigger is better and made to feel sub standard if we are not above average. Nobody wants to admit to being of average size. They are not yet mature enough to know that size is not the satisfying factor.

The reality is that society has lied to us for so many years about what a man should be. They have convinced us that being a man means you have to have a big penis and use it a lot. And generation after generation of young men go around worried about whether or not they have what it takes to be a man down there. Sad commentary on life. And what-s sadder is that we all buy into it at some time or another.

it-s more or less a pissing contest unless I-ve missed the boat on this. they-ve been programmed to believe, through provocative advertising, that -bigger is better-. I never was concerned personally about the size of the yacht, I always got raked over the motion of the ocean!

They-re asking for curiosity, for real (some guys are small and really need help with that) and just to post on here to keep the questions going.

I-m what you can call a -late bloomer-. I-m 17 and i just recently started to shave this past summer. Also my voice has gotten deeper and hair has grown on my armpits and also alittle bit on my chest. Also, i have pubic hair and its gotten thicker over the past year, but it seems like my penis hasn-t done that much. How soon will it grow, if it does at all. Normally this type of symptoms are observed in teen age who have just started their sex life. It is not normal for a person of 31 age.

This is my story on the issue.

When I was 19 I was at 7.5in long and 6in in girth. Not bad, but I wanted to be bigger.
I started to do basic jelqing, and started slow, but eventually worked up to being able to do it for about 30 min intervals. No specific schedule, just whenever I had the time. In about a year, I worked my way up to 9in long and gain about another inch in girth, and I-ve been quite happy with that ever since, and the changes have been permanent.
